Ashour Company: is the one of the Ministry of the housing and construction companies Established in 1988 and specialized in Roads and Bridges works and it is distinguished since its formation in completing many Roads and Bridges projects. The company owns a number of construction and production units such as Asphalt plants, Crushers, Central Concrete batching plants, Sieves and two filler plants. The Company has many branches in Baghdad and in Governorates ( Basrah, Nassiryah, Samawa, Emarah, Kerbala, Hilla, Mosul , Diyala and Baghdad ).

Expertise: Ashour Company has (2431) employee in Iraq in different fields of Specialization (Engineers, Technical, Administrative, Accountants, Skilled and Unskilled workers, etc). Many of them are professional Engineers holding Diploma BSC, MSC and PHD Degrees from recognized Iraqi and foreign universities.
Due to efforts of those competent and talented employees the company had succeeded in executing and completing. Many distinguished big projects in different parts of Iraq.
Roads and Bridges project Experience: The best and most important project which the company has executed is the express way part 6 which extends from Diwania to Nassiria. It is one section of the main express highway No. 1 which is the principal way in Iraq which runs from Iraqi Western Borders to the Iraqi southern Borders passing through middle and south of Iraq. This Express way is distinguished and has very important strategically value.
Plants and Factories of Material production: Ashour Company owns (18) Asphalt plants, (4) Central Concrete batching plants and two Filler plants. During April 2003 the plants sites and buildings of the company were looted damaged and stolen. With great efforts the talented Employees managed to rebuild, repair and rehabilitated all machines, vehicles and plants of the company which made it able to complete many projects valued (72536) million Iraqi Dinar.
